Hi, I just turned 90 ^_^ And now I got crusher & fury maxed. If I follow the standard build I should max roar now. But most people tell me that roar is pretty much useless or is roar better on himes? Note: I'm going to max dragon blood. (I don't have money for NLC and it looks really cool)

Dragon roar is very helpful at training, mobbing, hunting at low level places, and as a tool to quickly get inside your berserk range. besides, there's nothing else to put your points in lulz. EDIT: Just noticed I counted wrong. If you get max roar and dragon blood, you'll be lvl 107. That's 39 skill points till 4th job. Those 39 skills points could be split over 10 ER and the rest in spear fury.

Roar is good if you're going to train at Typhons, and for lowering your HP at 4th job. So unless you will train at Typhons (Which you won't cause Priests want you for Himes), max it last. Crusher>Fury>DB>ER>Roar>Whatever.

@saskue615 Elemental resistance is an alright skill for dragon knights to max, but most usually don't because they have priests with them. Elemental resistance is usually one of the last skills maxed, even after dragon's roar, because the damage they take will usually just be nullified by a priest's healing. And I think resistance to element-based magic attacks may actually prove to be useful as a dark knight, so you can take more magic damage while still trying to maintain your berserker rage threshold.

@above Hahaha I remember those times! I used to love training there on my priest, that's until the maps were curved horrendously, making it hard to get a decent amount of experience percentage per hour.

ER isn't useless, it's very useful at pap and zak. Besides, there's nothing else to put your points in, besides power crash which IS useless.
