link this is wat i get , i can log in , go ingame but as soon as i see the place i last logged of in i dc and get this error. does this mean i should reinstall?

You have to go into your Nexon folder, right-click Maple.exe (the maplestory icon) then click make new shortcut. The shortcut will fix it for you. Just click on the shortcut when u log in rather than the original

Are you already using the shortcut? If not try it, typically that's what the problem is.

i already did that + i tried running the game from the main folder , same issue . + im using windows xp if that helps o.o
