If I bought insurance for it, or even if I didn't buy insurance for it and there's a new version of iPod came out. I can just go to the store and exchange my old version into the newest one? I'm asking because I don't want to feel stupid doing it.

aznsealYou can. At the best buys here, that's how it works. They let you change your "defected" model for a new one that works, even if the new ones an upgrade. I just tell them some pixels are burnt out xd
