Leaving a Family

Does anyone know how to leave your current family? Other then the leader kicking you? I've been tryin to find a way to leave for like 10 minutes but still nothing

open up the pedegree chart and double click the senior above you

Open the family menu then click twice on the senior, and if a senior wanna kick you they double click on you
