Do you care if someone else got hacked or scammed? I love how someone can get hacked/scammed and think that whining here on Basil/Sleepywood will help change anything. Two examples: Someone got hacked by his friend and thinks that he's entitled to get his items back because Nexon's supposed to know that two items are the same because they have the same color, even though he probably gave out his account info to that person. His only proof is: 1) He sees a similar weapon in another shop. 2) The person selling them is a mage while he's selling high level warrior equips. 3) The items are colored the same way as his was. Then this other girl gets scammed and she threatens, "and I'm going to basil and sw" Yay? This is a forum to talk about Maplestory. Sure we'll say, "Aww, I feel bad for you" 1 Minute later, and no one's going to bother doing anything. What? You think someone will go on and say, "HEY! YOU SCAMMED THIS RANDOM PERSON ON BASIL! GIVE BACK HER MONEY!" Yeah right. Stop whining, no one cares, they say they do, but they really don't. Flame me if you want, I'm not trying to be arrogant, but this is the honest truth.

I think you have a point, and I can honestly say that I'll feel bad for someone who posts something like that, but only for a second. However it's blatently obvious that it doesn't accomplish much anyways, and making a thread about it is just as blatently obvious not to accomplish much. Kudos, though.

I agree with you, but there's something inside your post that really ticks me off. Here it is: instead of making up examples, you used real people, and this feels like attacking them, which, IIRC, is breaking a rule.

I only feel bad for the person if it was unavoidable. If they did something stupid like download a keylogger or give their information to somebody I consider them idiots and feel no sympathy from them since nexon has warnings posted all over maplestory and yet people still ignore them.
