sin vs brawler

i just created a new brawler, the only other character i have is a level 33 sin i have about 20m in cash should i continue on my sin or playout the brawler. the reason i created the brawler was because i dont like the fact that i have to keep jumping to attack mobs, so i started looking around and found out that at max level ssk can do 160%x6 damage for a total of 960% the highest percentage hitting skill for first job. i thought that was really cool, so i continued down the line of looking at either a gunslinger or a brawler, i remembered that i didnt like ranged attacks that much so i was leaning 95% towards a brawler. i've never gotten a character over about level 40 but then again i really dont play that much, i have recently gotten very involved in the game, spent my first ever nx cash (got a scroll for shield of mage atk, sold though) and play about an hour per day or two, so i'm trying to achieve level 70 on a character by the time september comes around, yes i know thats 4 months and for some people they could get level 120 by then, but i like to experiment and i hate grinding(created a new brawler build called the pq build, 1 in ssk(for hpq) then max ff, and start putting points to bt so that at lvl 21 i can do good against the ligators), so i want to know if i should just stick it out and play the sin or have some fun with the brawler, another thing i like about the brawler is their max hp increase and mana recovery that way i only need to bring hp pots saving me a use invent spot. i find so many pros with brawlers and so many cons with sins that it just seems rediculous to continue my sin. i'd just like to mention that im in yellonde meaning maple knuckles(and most other knuckles) are almost nothing compared to the stars and claws i would have to purchase for my sin, please give your opinion, thanks!

i'd prefer you start a brawler. too many sins are useless. and dexless sins are worse. brawlers are really fun, they do great dmg as well.

I have noticed an increasing amount of Brawlers Lately. But yeah Probably cause were extremely fun.

well for the PQ build. better max SSK first .cause FF is kinda sucky. then go buy a fish spear/pumkin spear and use SSK in KPQ (pumkin spear gives a 10 acc boost) then your normal 20 base dex = 16 acc+ 10 acc+ 20 from skill (forgot name) + 8 acc from scrolled lvl 10 overall = total of 54 accuracy without a pill

sins and brawlers have very different play styles, so if you are bored of your sin, why not try a brawler. really, in my opinion you answered your question already crafty613 said: "so i want to know if i should just stick it out and play the sin or have some fun with the brawler," the point of maplestory, as well as any other game is to have FUN. if you think you will have more fun with the brawler, go for it!

Brawler is fun. But max SSK first, you won't use FF much in a pq. And as said upstairs, don't buy knuckler, instead use fishpsear/pumpkin spear till level 35-40 when you have knuckler mastery maxed. If you play correctly, brawler can be king of cpq.

Find out whichever one you like to play more. Whichever that is play it. Don't let other people tell you which one to play.

If you play correctly, brawler can be king of cpq." im already level 16 with 15 ff so i think im just going to have to sacrafice my bt and use the fishspear which will make up for 10 levels of bt if i went and got a fish spear and started to max ssk until i reached level 21 i think that might work (i'd have 16 ssk by level 21) 16 ssk allows me to hit 6 monsters, but at a loss of 15 bt which could be made up by a sniper pill and fish spear please feedback if you think this is a good idea

Definitely you need bt, otherwise you will hit miss in kpq. For your case, already 15 ff, you may max bt first, then ff, then max ssk. You may still hit miss in kpq, and you may need to add dex to your overall. In kpq prebrawler is not much different from other class, but in cpq, there will be a lot of fun. With FF you will miss a lot of fun with spear + SSK. Spear has a lot more W.ATT than knuckler. And I can hit 400+ at 2x. My warrior couldn't do that.

Sins and brawlers both have their merit. If you don't like your brawler continue your sin, and vice versa. You shouldn't spend all you have until you really know you're going to play your character for a good long time. We don't need another class vs. class thread

I have a sin and a brawler and personally I love my brawler. Being a sin is so repetitive jump L7 Jump l7 etc, but with a brawler you're supposed to do combos and thats really fun

the problem is ff can only be used with a knuckle which means i dont get the +10 acc from a spear so i might as well leave bullet time at 10 and get ssk up so i can use spear that way my damage is higher and i can use those valuable skill points on ssk, as i see it at level 21 i'll have... 15 ff 16 ssk 3 bt my accuracy with a sniper pill will be... 16 from base dex 3 from bt 10 from fish spear 10 from sniper pill a total of 39 accuracy if thats not enough to hit the ligators(im not worrying about king slime) i dont know what is according to maple wiki ssk does 160 percent at level 20

Who did you get your build from? I'd use your spear anyways, the extra damage and accuracy from it will be nice. Your source is either dead wrong or knows of some secret skill change 0.0 Looking in my skill book, it says 190% damage, and that seems pretty accurate. Also, is your fish spear accuracy scrolled or something? I thought they only added 4 or 5 accuracy. If you can afford it, make a 10 dex bathrobe.
