Okay, so I'm thinking about making a gunslinger soon. But what im wondering is , is it really worth going through 70 weak lvls to get to 3rd job and finally be strong? and is it fun ? i heard there are extremely weak at lvls 10-70. and that there really not accepted into pq's. So im just wondering from the gunslingers out their is it worth it? motivation would be good too :]

o.O They aren't that weak. I soloed most of my CPQs with a friend leeching until she was more helpful. My record is like 112 wins, 9 losses. 0 ties? I wouldn't say I'm weak or bad at PQs.. Most of my gear is 100%d or decent as well, 100%d gun, 100%d Dex robe, 7 attack glove. I'm having loads of fun. Slingers are well worth it IMO.

At lv 45+ i solored roms and almost never lost if that helps. I can show you my dmg on Friday and skills too.

The hardest part I would say is from lvls 65-70 mainly cuz the only decent training spots are getting bad (mp3s and c-2) and you can't go to raiders yet cuz you dont have enough blank shot or hp to get pass the elders. However, once you pass those lvls training once again gets much easier. Overall I say gunslinger is a very fun job and it's a job you have to have Patience for. Its a bit tough in the beginning (well not horridly hard that you lose fun out of it) but once you get around 77 or so and have maxed out your burst shot then your in a for a ride. From their and out all your hard work you put in will finally show off. If you make one just forget what the people say to you about " your dmg sucks", "gunslingers suck", "your weak" etc bc that is what turns people off from being a gunslinger and they end up quitting soon. Just keep doing what your doing and keep thinking it will get better later because well it does get a whole lot better.

weak pirates leech sure...many of them leech but those people don't deserve to play as a outlaw or a corsair if all u wanted was to be a corsair and hit tons of damage...play on a ps... some leeching however isn't too bad after many many levels or grinding everyone needs break u will feel very accomplished at level 70 and it will be easy going from there on out

That is a biased, non-existent concept created by damage hungry, self-centered idiots too selfish to see outside big numbers. Gunslingers are considered weak because double fire only does 80% x2 while skills like l7 do 150% x2. What they are too stubborn to see/admit is that double shot is significantly FASTER than their skills. That is how gunslingers keep up. It may not look like good damage but it can somewhat compare. In 30-70, invis mobbing is also considered weak by the damage obsessers. 170% is weak to them just because it only does a little damage. They are too lazy to see that it can hit THREE monsters for a total of 510% damage. This "gunslingers are weak" misconception is due to overpowered damage obsessers that can't see anything but their own 2 hits on a monster. <----(referring to dexless sins)

I hate how ignorant people can be sometimes. :P Whenever I CPQ people summon a crap load of monsters and speed. They act like I can't mob and recoil away quickly to still kill, I'm not a sin, I don't get stopped by stupid tricks like that :c The same thing happens on my bowman.

The question mark wasn't for the 0 ties thing, it was my entire record. :p It's something close to that. But I have tied twice in CPQ before. o.O They just gave us both losses. What a scam.
