Hello guys, i have a Wireless Internet and i've been having problems with it, especially while playing Maplestory. I get about 52mbps once it's connected and it would go down to 11mbps out of no where. My signal strenght is most of the time on LOW, but sometimes i get GOOD signal. I would always lagg while playing. My desktop is about 20 feet away from the router. I have Comcast internet & D-link router. If anyone know what i can do, please help. Thanks.

D-Link sux (I got it as well) Buy a internet cable that reaches from your computer to the internet box. Easier and less lagg. (For me at least)

I have a D-Link and i can play maple without any lagg. Try and connect an ethernet cable to reduce the lagg or move your laptop closer to the router.

D-link is known to have some problems, only thing you can do is leave the router next to you, some routers only go from room to room distance, so yer, try playing close to it and see what happens, thats all you can do for now

I've had that problem in the past. As someone already suggested, I just gave in and went wired. Still have the wireless for when its more practicle, for browsing and such... But I just couldn't justify spending 150$ on a decent router. PS. Mines a d-link aswell.

Aetas2Ceado said: "D-Link sux (I got it as well)" I agree with that^ I have had so many problems with my D-Link router it's not even funny. And it STILL restarts randomly sometimes.

For some reason i have these Ativa (which is my wireless adapter) link Dlink (network magic, which is my router) link Are these 2 really necessary? & Also i cant move my DESKTOP closer to the router because my computer is in my room, and the router is in my living room. It's pretty far away so yeah.
