 | We regret to inform you that two mods, EluNirvelli and BokuWaOmar, will be leaving us as of today. The truth is that they've long since learned all my special recipes and have in fact been teaching me a thing or two about marinades, frying and baking. The other truth is that they've gotten too busy with life outside of Basil and need to make room in their schedules. In particular, Elu is busy with the Army (yes, for real) while Omar has prepared a special message below for all of you. Message from Omar Attention Basilers. basilbot has defeated bokuwaomar with the Electric Slide . The dragon is secure; a total catastrophe has been avoided. The cause of bokuwaomar's insantiy has been determined to be some funky tea that was mixed up with the BuckStars coffee in the office. Just who at BuckStars is responsible is currently unknown, but we suspect it was Omar. Shortly after his recovery, bokuwaomar announced he is leaving the site permanently to pursue other things, such as school and spending more time with his family. He said he planned to announce it on Monday, but because of the screwup BuckStars, he was unable to make it until today. -- ThreadEaterMonster#3 What now? It's true that we've lost some good mods lately. Don't be alarmed -- this is quite normal and to be expected as people become busier and simply don't have the time to commit. But don't fret, we still have 7 people on the staff and we will add new mods in good time. In the meantime, say goodbye to Omar and Elu, you'll both be missed! |
