The use of the word "g-ay" a

Why is it that whenever somebody wants to say something like "That's stupid" or "That's lame," that person chooses to use the word "g-ay?" That word is not a synonym for "stupid" or "lame" and should be removed from such vernacular. I don't believe in associating that word with something so degrading. You don't see conversations like this: P1: I can't believe she dropped the egg. P2: Yeah, I know. That's so white. or P1: You're such an idiot. P2: Yeah, you're a stupid Chink. (Although Chinese may not be his/her race). *sigh* I just hope that one day, the general public will learn that the usage of such terms, "g-ay" and "f-ag" will not be used in such a derogatory manner. **NOTE: No clue why there's an extra "a" in the title.

Well, it "seems" to be a stronger way of expressing what they mean. I don't even know the definiton anymore, but communicating with it, g-a-y would mean something very negative...

g-a-y means happy but in slang terms it means homosexual f-a-g means cigar, sum1 told me it also means hard working servant

the original meaning of these words has nothing to do with insults, ghay= happy fhag= a bundle of sticks

exactly. the word g-a-y is only used in negative conduct because its the person's general mind set that something that is dumb is g-a-y. Its true that those words are its definitions as shown by shadowstrikr and that it really had nothing negative to it until people made it a negative thing. not that its a justification as to using that word in those contexts but it explains why ppl associate dumb or something generally crappy with g-a-y. Its wrong and u might as well stop it.
