Racism in Maple?

Well lately, I've noticed more and more people complaining about racism towards blacks in Maplestory. I've played for roughly two years, and haven't once seen anyone get scolded at due to their character's color. Plain and simple: Is there racism towards blacks in Maplestory? Edit: I know if there's racism, then there's racism against most/all races. But mostly, the complaints come from African Americans, but I guess we should now vote dealing with racism altogether. Please think of the poll as not just towards blacks, but racism towards any race. Edit 2: Well, sometime when I get on Maple, I'm gonna make a tanned gunslinger (I've been wanting to make one for a while now, and it would probably bring up more racists) and I'll notify Basil with a thread about it, and I guess we'll see if I get some racist comments. I don't know what to expect really, but I'll brace myself for the worst.

i kno this is kinda wierd but i made a "black" character (warrior) idk why but i did and all the time whenever i beat someone they would call me the N word and i would have to explain to em i'm pale as an albino f3

Go to Scania and find out. Although mostly we ignore it. Knowing that most that do it just need to "bully" someone because they get bullied in rl. Or, most just ignore it because if we argued everytime someone said somethin in MapleStory we wouldnt get nowhere. Or just dont want to stoop that low and interact with such people.

Yes there is, I've witnessed it myself when I used to LPQ. I've even been called a chink because my character's eyes, and I'm not even close to being Asian. People really do attack based on your character's look.

Every race is discriminated against, you know... not just African-Americans. Even the Caucasians.

If saying "blacks" instead of African Americans bothers you so much, then I'm sorry I guess? Most people don't have problems with that...Even African Americans themselves often say they're black from what I hear at school or in real life.
