I believe so- religion was started as a gap to fill in scientific ignorance, and as we gain more knowledge, religion will eventually die.

The way I see it, Scientism will eventually develop into a religion anyways, so we won't be rid of it for a long while.

I don't see why people keep talking as if religion and science can't go together, look at us, we have religious people who are famous scientists. OT: Yes, when the day of judgment comes after all the believers have died.

There will always be religion. Religion does not need to be done away with. It does not have to conflict with science. People need hope. Religion is that hope. I hope so, because then it will end international conflict once religion dies out.
