...Marilyn Manson News said: "An eighth-grade student at Larose-Cut Off Middle School in Larose, Louisiana shot himself in the head during school this Monday morning after he shot at a teacher for refusing to praise musician Marilyn Manson, reports DailyComet.com. The student was not killed; however, he remains in critical condition at Terrebonne General Medical Center. Fifteen-year-old Justin Doucet reportedly barged into Jessica Plaisance's seventh-grade English class and demanded that everyone get on the ground. He then told the teacher to say "Hail Marilyn Manson." Doucet fired the gun at the woman twice. The first time it didn�t go off and the second time the bullet flew above her head and left a hole in the wall behind her. Doucet then asked one of the students in the classroom to leave with him, but the student refused. It was then that Doucet exited the classroom, walked to a nearby bathroom, and shot himself. Nobody except for the gunman was injured during the event. Classmates of the boy say that along with Marilyn Manson, he also had an obsession with Adolf Hitler. Police investigations reveal that the boy�s 25-caliber nickel plated semi-automatic handgun belonged to his father. Police also discovered that the boy had written a suicide note that detailed his plans to kill others and then himself. Officials say that the school did not have metal detectors in use at the front entrance of the school and that they believe the boy came in through a back entrance. Following the shooting, the school was put on lockdown where the students were searched for weapons and then picked up early by their parents. The school has since been deemed safe and is expected to open again on Tuesday morning with added security."
