so how do you? Same goes with spanish countries, i mean they all speak the same language, so how do you tell them apart?

The main language is Taiwan is MANDARIN. I don't get why people make such a big deal over Chinese vs. Taiwanese. People from Taiwan are Chinese. If you've ever studied history, you would know that Taiwan originally housed refugees from Communist CHINA.
