Training? Jr. Newties?

So I'm level 101, with a pretty lousy damage range that barely tips 2K. Right now I 9-11 hit Jr. Newties, note however, this is with a fast attack speed bow. It seems like I down them fast, but I'm not sure. Then again the exp seems marginal, about 12-15% an hour. Is this just the speed of killing newties before you can take a hit?

i got better EXP at typhons at that lvl (around 25%/hour). on the other hand, i had a slightly better damage range

Well, i don't think 12-15%/hour is really slow when sniping newties. Btw, ever bothered trying typhons? i get like 20-25%/hour there.

Fast attack bow will allow him to mob them faster. They do burn lots of pots (i burn around 300 barbs/hour with zhelm) but the training is much faster and less boring than newts.

BTW, don't be distracted by your somewhat 'lower' damage range. Even if it barely tips 2000, your DPM probably is higher then quite a lot of lvl 101 rangers.
