HolyMythosEvery time this is posted it is always different by large amounts. First it's $300,000. Then it's $200,000. Now it's $71,000.

February or March the value was $300,000 according to Alexa IIRC and the traffic rank still hasn't moved much so I see no reason why it would drop more than two thirds of it's value.

You mean other than the economic recession.. right?

HolyMythosVysper said: " You mean other than the economic recession.. right?" I doubt that losing two thirds of it's cost in two months is due to the recession, especially since Basilmarket never lost any of it's traffic rank. If it had lost some of it's traffic rank, I can see how it went down, but definitely not by two thirds within two months with no change in rank. Besides, one of the reasons we're in a recession is that there's no jobs out there, and as unemployement rise, wouldn't that mean more people with no jobs meaning more free time? I would think that the internet would prosper in a recession rather than dwindle.

it's calculated by the flow of users. The appraisals are different from site to site. No. The reason we are in a recession is because the Clinton presidency was saying that "everyone deserves a home" causing the banks to be obligated to give out large sums of money to people who couldn't pay it back. This recession has been dwelling here for quite a while.
