Menu Poll: Dropdown or Current menu?

For those of you who remember the dropdown menu -- did you prefer that menu or do you like the current one?

The dropdown menu. The clickbox (For lack of a better word) with the dropdown menus were a lot easier to work with.

I like the current menu Mr. Basil. The dropdown used to lag and go behind the ad so I don't like it

I didn't like the dropdown. Because, Like RJustice said, it would often drop down behind the ad.

Sure.. If you fix a few parameters of the dropdown and make it less glitchy, i could use that one. But this one is good as well, so i really dont mind which one you chose to use.

One single vertical mouse movement is easier in my opinion. Thus, the dropdown menu was better as far as I'm concerned.

I honestly don't mind which one you implement. At all. To me, a vertical mouse motion and two horizontal ones mean the same thing.

I liked the drop down because I could move my mouse slightly down after scrolling over a topic. However, the drop down would sometimes get caught behind the ads. If that's fixable, I'd gladly welcome the return of a drop down menu. Now, when I want to go to something like 'threads' I go to the middle of the screen and then have to move to the left of the screen while carefully managing not to move the mouse outside of the small area where you need to navigate the mouse in order to keep the box up. If anything, we should be given the ability to pick between the two and change it at our whim.

When I scroll over the BasilID and plan to go to my mailbox I sometimes slightly go over the Auctions menu which is just plain annoying.
