To get a Doomsdayor not?

Well I'm a level 111 I/L, and I plan on making it to archmage soon enough. Which is nice and all, howeverr...I'm still using my level 70 ele wand 3. And here comes my question. My ele wand is borrowed and it's not extremely powerful, it's actually only 80 m att and a few int and luk D: . And I LOVE the look of Doomsday's, and they have more M.ATT on them. The only thing is... I'm wondering if I'll be doing less damage with the doomsday even though it would probably be about 40 more m att plus int, because apparently it adds 25%? Correct me if I'm wrong, to your damage. So my question is...would buying a doomsday be good at all? Because I COULD just continue to use the wand I have, and be perfectly fine if it adds 25% or so to my overall M.ATT right? Or ...would a Doomsday be better? All help is appreciated, Thanks~

Sadly, even that 80 mag. atk wand will outdamage a doomsday staff. The wand will still be better with ice attacks by about 2k damage+, but lightning attacks will be about the same. Doomsdays are priced sometimes as low as 70m in Scania, so if you have extra money to spare buy it for looks.

I have a Doomsday! It cost me quite a bit to get and honestly, it's just for looks. I'm still looking for an E.Staff to get. With Medi I have approximately 685-690 magic attack and I'm level 107. Right now I do a maximum of 8.2-8.3 k on Red Wyverns / Firebrands with Cold Beam, max of 4-4.5k with Magic Claw on neutral monsters, and 5.8-7.2k with Ice Strike on fire monsters. I'm a Luck mage. The stats for my Doomsday is 6 int 130 m.attack. Hope this helps with your decision making!

Thank you! I bought the staff clean for 100 mil and scrolled it with 60%'s. Most nerve-wrecking moment of my Maple life.

@SG; Dang I was afraid of that D: hmm...doomsdays are pretty though. I will most definitely consider it if I can find one cheap :o . When I merchanted a looot, I bought one for 50 mil, but I was only level 52 and I didn't think I could ever use it. So I sold it for 17k or so in MTS and I kind of always regretted it :/ . @Shoebear; LMAO. I would freak out SOOO bad scrolling a doomsday. But at least it turned out nice :o .

Alright, SOOO my friend being the kind generous man he is, bought me a doomsday for 18k NX in the MTS. Nothing really amazing, buuuuuut I still do about 5k+ to newties and that's about how much I did with my ele wand 3, like 500~800 dmg difference. BUT IT'S PRETTY. Thanks for all of your help to the people who posted <3

I regret getting a doomsday and not an ewand 1/5 instead xP But the look is very nice :D
