over my years of the "maple experience", whether or not i was on my class character or on my beginner. ive noticed many things. and i do mean many. -almost everywhere i went and still go i see that beginners are either having fun training with friends or getting hated on by other classes, and even, other beginners. this disappoints me greatly especially the beginners part, everyone is always talking about how beginenrs are so nice and friendly tell me how "dude my firkin 100 atk tuna owns your purse. go suck horse**** " is nice? and the forums, oh the lovely forums, have turned into nothing but debates, whether someone leeched or not, or if someone is trying to find the best world, it is always, or turns into, an argument ALWAYS. and don't even argue with that because you know its true. Ive seen hypocrites, "max says- O MFG he firkin leeched! O MFG! (next day later) max gets caught leeching. speaking of which. whats the deal with this leech ey? is it really worth debating. so what if someone leeched? wil lit kill you? or wait, don't tell me your jealous. if people don't want or cant level then go ahead leech. and the main problem is all these people bagging on people level 80+ that leeched. you have no idea how hard that is to level at those levels as a beginner, and like i said. it wont kill you to see some leech. in my opinion, its very helpful. if you got millions and don't know what to use it for. go pay someone to train you and go burn that fat that you earned sitting on maple the whole day. exercise can help you greatly. in conclusion. to all thosewho are making a big phanny fit about it,get over yourself(unless your like 3 then i don't know what your doing operating a computer but anyways you can keep crying)' i ask put yourself in their shoes, i bet you'll be leeching not from from your high levels too, and if your not, then invite me to your world, ill make a player and personally give you 10 mesos, deal?too bad. - moving on, personally, my the biggest problem out there. in the beginning, beginners were started to be unique, and part of this is having weak damage. but what ive seen is no where near that. i see beginenrs that say "i made one to not be like the other classes" well what im going to tell you makes you completely the same, except the skills of course. - walking through the streets of |-|eynesys, or browsing the fm, or even reading forums i see beginners bragging and bragging about there godly scrolled tunas or their gofdy scrolled boots. im gana say right now who the F+++ cares? unless you plan on growing up and being the 60 yr old virgin. i hope that we all will quit maple right? so that's why it dosnt matter, maple is made to be fun while it lasts and wasting your time getting all these un needed equips is pathetic. anyways back on topic. how beginners say "im unique" tell me how bragging about your new 20dex boots is different form a thief bragging about his 20luk boots? besides they have different stats. these type of thi

It's weird, but I think it's becuase I don't really talk to other beginners and I avoid PQs, but almost all the comments I get from people when I'm on my beginner are like, "Woah cool!" If people question me, I explain it nicely to them and then they give me positive feedback.

Honestly, the reason why I try to get good equips is because I capped my dex at 55 and like being able to at least impart -some- damage on monsters that are at least a little closer to what a jobbed character my level would be training on. To me, that's fun, just like when I "rescued" my friend from MDTs (he had no return scrolls and couldn't get up so I decided to bring him one since I wasn't worried about dying). With my crappy HP equips, I managed to have 10-ish HP left after one hit :D It was fun. I usually get complimented about my choice to make a beginner, but I can easily say that I get close to the same amount of "wth r u stupid!" remarks too. Either people think it's cool and fame me, or they tell me to get a job (why the hell would a beginner get a job at my level?) and/or defame me and run. And I really don't care, as I've decided to look at my fame as my final "goal" in levels, so the lower the better =P Even when I was 90%ish to 71 (so excited to be done with LMPQ!), there was a guy in the party that kept telling the leader to boot me because I was "useless." It was as if I ran to the exit room and sat there when, in actuality, I broke boxes and at least tried to help kill the tauros every time. I know I may not do AMAZING damage but I still do damage and I still do my part as a member of the party. I guess some people see making a beginner as a waste of the game, as if the game itself on a jobbed account wasn't a waste enough already.

If you're lower-leveled and just getting started, it's more like: 10% Adored 15% Confused 75% Hated I didn't start to feel any noticeable "love" from the GMS community until my late 40's/early 50's.

I am ripped on by low lvl people many times I'm respected by high lvls because they realize the commitment and dedication it takes to have one. as for the bragging, that's why i just keep my equips all crappy, cuz i don't care if i have low damage. Most people seem to think its cool that I'm a beginner, and if I'm asked why, i just tell them because its fun and unique.

Through my experiences so far, I've found this. 80% confused 15% adored 5% hated I'm really yet to find people who outright hate me, just the usual prick who doesn't want me in their party.

Also, now that I can poison I'm of some use! Like, in the first stage of LPQ I run ahead and poison everything before the rest of the humans get to them, so by the time they're ready to attack the critter is nearly dead. Same goes for the monsters in the dark rooms! >:p -shooshes- Things isn't a STRmage forum, Keelan. Gosh! -bites-" I thought you were a Cleric. ^^ F/P would work better I guess. Ha. -bites back- >:3
