Recoil shot, One point in blank shot. Both the stun and jump back are useful.

You need Level 5 Wings before you can get Recoil.

Do you intend upon CPQing and LMPQing or training elsewhere? If you go the PQing route, I suggest maxing out blank shot first, as it comes in handy, especially in LMPQ, where you can just stun all three Tauromacis in one shot. This makes it much easier and faster to kill them, as you and the rest of your party members aren't constantly getting knocked around by their lightning attack. If you plan on training on your own, I suppose its really your choice, but perhaps in larger open maps Recoil would be more useful (remember pre-req of 5 wings) to help you get some distance between mobs. I found I never used it in LMPQ though, the room aren't that big and the Tauromacis don't really go anywhere anyhow. I used recoil a little bit in CPQ in room 3/4 to get away from the mobs sometimes, but even then it wasn't that often. Blank shot was considerably more useful there, as being able to stun a mob to get away from it just always seemed to work better. Personally I got a little of both first before focusing on one or the other. Level 1 recoil is pretty well useless, but at level 5 it was sufficient and I left it at that for a while whilst I focused on Blank shot and maxed it out.

OK THANKS NATAKU =) Helped me decide ^^ I'm going to do Blank First because I don't CPQ at all. 1) Everyone is a Gunslinger hater 2) It's full of TWing noobs that makes CPQ boring 3) Grinding is somehow fun for me when I play my slinger. Also I plan to LMPQ from 51-55 or so. Thanks a bunch^^

More then about CPQ, its about LMPQ. if you are going to be a LMPQ'r, then it is extremely important for you to go Blank Shot first. However, i got bored of it on my sin, so i do not plan to LMPQ, so i went recoil. Recoil helps in training at roids/MP3/Grizzlies, whereas Blank Shot is useless there (unless you want to drastically slow down training to stun mobs for 3 seconds). |
