I think that there should be one handed and two handed guns so it allows a more diverse player experience for gunslingers. For example, one handed guns would be much faster than two handed guns, however, they would be much weaker and have a lower range. In order to stabilize the skills, we would add the same skills for the two handed guns but with differences. One example would be rapid fire, in which the two handed firing speed would be lower than the one handed firing speed. I just thought of it because this isn't a gun. this is a gun.

How would you go about making a one handed gun faster than a two handed gun when our current guns (which are all 2-handed) already hit the speed cap of the game? Also, changing skill info for 1 - 2 -handed weapons would be very strange, as no other class has that in the game, so I don't see why slingers should. That would mean you would have a different skill for each one, so you would have to be either a dedicated 1handed or 2handed user, like a crusader uses either swords or axes. Also, what do the pictures have to do with the topic of gun speeds in maple at all? I wouldn't call either one of them a gun, they're both just pellet shooters. If guns in maple were to relate to guns in the real world, a fully automatic machine gun like an AK-47 is faster AND more powerful than a hand gun like that, what is that supposed to be impersonating, a 9mm? a .45? Regardless, a 1-handed gun like that would actually be slower since its not full-auto, and would also be lacking in power since the bullets are smaller. I think guns are fine as they are. I'd hate to see Outlaws and Crosairs bickering over attack shields like some other classes do, as that's all that would happen if they could have 1-handed guns.

The "slow rifle" types lean more towards archers since they can't really move and attack (sets rifle and shoots).

eh, the only thing that I'd like to see would be dual pistols for a 2h gun, not rifles

"Pirates use handguns not rifles" They use shotguns too. They're names are Gun-slingers so you'd think they use more than just a handgun. .. but then again Snipers dont really use sniper rifles..

Archers many years ago would have been snipers at the time.

Raikiriii said: "eh, the only thing that I'd like to see would be dual pistols for a 2h gun, not rifles" Yes please. That's what I'd like to see considering guns are two-handed. I know its technically two handed when you hold only one gun because the style of guns in MS are supposed to be based on old derringers, blunderbuss and revolvers as that's what old-school 'pirates' would have had and you need one hand to pull the trigger and another to fan the hammer back, but really, the in-game animation doesn't show that action. And when you look at half those guns in-game as you hold them they look like modern semi-automatics anyhow. A gun in each hand might be slightly more believable also in terms of just how amazingly fast we shoot in MS... but then again, when was anything in MS really believable?
