Is this a new hack?

Hi, some of my Guild buddies say they got Hacked via trade and chat, they accepted the invitation and suddenly d/ced, then they can't log on, when they finally can log, they find that all of their stuff where stolen and the untradeable stuff were dropped, is this a new hack? or this is the mapleapocalipsis? Anyways, they say you can get "hacked" via trade, chat, party and buddy list.

This actually happens in Scania to my Guild NazGhoulz. No lie, this is possible and for those who think that this is is not real well.... You can also get hacked if you go into a mushroom vender(NX). D; this makes me change my pw everytime i trade a random person or go into fm

It is impossible you would have to retrieve the information from the server, which is impossible to do with a program. It could be an inside job, but I doubt it. It is impossible. Apocalypse guys!@@@!@

In order to do that you would have to hack nexon first. By the time the guy actually hacks Nexon and gets to hacking you Nexon would have already caught the dumb idiot and thrown him in prison. I personally never believe that any kind of trade hack/chat hack/whatever hack that automatically steals your info or w/e is true until one of those filthy rich merchants in ch1 fm 1 with 100billion in pure mesos and another 100billion in equips is hacked. Until one of those types of guys is hit with these "hacks" I find it false. Also why hack you when the hacker could easily walk into the fm and merely trade one of those rich merchants spamming "B> GACHA B> TUNA B> SCROLLS@@@@@@@@" by just trading them since those guys accept every trade invite.

It's possible, as I heard in another forum for hackers (because I was just adventuring throughout the wonderful world of the intarwebs) and they said that gameguard and all the other hackshields they use are just jokes and can't really hold anything back that well. If someone is smart enough, they can do it if they want. You're not really ever safe :/ best you can do is hope that someone will some day find an absolutely full proof way to prevent hacking and stuff, but that will probably never happen.
