Basil needs an iPhone/iPod touch app

Basil should seriously consider this. A mobile site would work too.

It could be an informational app containing monsters, guides, items, prices, etc. With an eBayish feel.

Ehh...i sometimes browse basil on my iphone = not fun though. Too much work to do something

I'd think it would be better to use just the forums instead because will you ever need items/prices/guides/monsters when you're not already at the computer? Half of basilers come here only for the forums.

If it was a DB app, though, then maybe. It would probably have to be an internet-only app, because I'm sure most people wouldn't want to carve out that much space for monster/item images, etc. I've been experimenting with making iPhone apps (even though I don't have one and don't plan on getting one), since my uncle bought the SDK (he makes little apps for himself, and apparently didn't mind spending that kind of money), and as far as programming goes, it's not too hard, once you get the hang of the script it uses, and the SDK comes with a "virtual iPhone" to test it in. Anyway, if I had my own db site, I suppose I could make an app for it. I don't know about paying for it so everyone else could use it, but still haha.

The iPhone is overrated; and I doubt that many Basilers have one, or use it often enough to make it worthwhile.

Itouch is one of the most advanced phones in America, but in china the most advanced phone is 5 years ahead of the itouch. Note: all my cellphones i used, are china imported phone, cost the same as american phones but years ahead in technolegy
