help on my desktop please

well after i ran maple full screen for about an hour and 15 minutes i closed it and my desktop now looks like this link its not only my desktop tho its random files all through my pc ex link please tell me how to fix this? restarting my computer doesnt work and neither does refreshing the desktop. please help me :'( EDIT: the problem is the black square icons :P

restarting didnt work but im gonna retry now so ill be back in like 10 mins :P

I'm guessing you've ran maple longer in full screen mode and haven't had this problem before.

When I play Maplestory in fullscreen and Firefox is running, when I change to windowed/quit maple somethings might appear blackened out. I just scroll the mouse over the stuff that's blackened or click on it. I hope this helped

I hope this helped " well everything works fine but its just random things are blacked out. even files in my nexon folder and stuff

right click anywhere on destop and click refresh

You can try clearing your icon cache, I think you can do this by using the "Disk Cleaner" option. And I doubt you need a new GPU, because I am speaking from experience. My 6 months old 9500GT is now crapping out, it doesn't really do much artifacting, but the cursor does artifact at times, when you see your mouse randomly changing colour for a second, or random things appear on your screen, that's when you need a new GPU.

Your shortcut image changed. You can manually select each shortcut image. You can do that in your control pannel I believe.

right click on desktop and hit "refresh"
