It's been happening quiet frequently actually, and has been going on for a few weeks. I have dreams where I kill myself and watch my parents and friends mourn for my death, and in some of them they're glad to be rid of me. Is this normal? I just assumed it was one of those pointless dreams everyone has but when I mentioned it to my friend he looked at me with a puzzled look. Have you ever had a dream like this? Anyone know what these dreams mean?

Dream analysis isn't really a stable thing. It might be cause for concern, though. Have you ever had/do you have thoughts of suicide aside from these dreams?

I thought you meant daydreams by using the word reverie. That would have been very bad. But yeah, it sounds like you might be suicidal on the inside or something.

Perhaps you're seeking affection and attention from your friends and family, thus you get dreams in which people will show love affection and attention towards you. I'm not sure how to explain the "glad to get rid of me" part though. You should perhaps consider talking to your guidance counselor.

Well first ask yourself, are you suicidal and do you actually want to die? I've had plenty of messed up dreams, they don't mean anything. However, I believe that dreams can tell the future so look into that.

I dunno. I have random thoughts such as this that pop into my head. Sometimes of me injuring myself, or others, or doing sexual things. Which, none of the these thoughts I have control over. But that's just because of my OCD.

Never has happened before. I've had a dream where I was falling down the stairs, a split second before I hit the bottom, I woke up.
