Hey guys I was wondering about a few marksmen skills. I;ve been watching some videos but i cant be sure about some of them. Firstly, does Pierce have a charge up? Like corkscrew punch for brawlers. Also, how does Snipe work on boss monsters? Thanks in advance

Pierce have a charge up time of one second and snipe works on boss monsters- it does 195,000 damage (not 1 hit- 195,000 damage).

@ above does it always do 195k? Not sure, I used to think it did 195000 to 199999.... Pierce charges 1 sec yeah. I think max snipe is 5 sec in GMS currently.

So do you have to charge up pierce to use it? Or if u charge it up for less time is there a damage difference?

If you charge it up for less time, it will do less damage. You can tap it if you want.

Off topic guys, wheres a good training spot for a lvl 5x xbow where u dont have to move very much. Please dont redirrect me to training guides because i want to know your experiences. (lvl 5x average bowman)

Though Doo's are pretty small which wont involve much moving. Applies to STD's as well

So is it Snipe as effective for bossing as hurricane?

mashavsapir said: " avr=195k :-)" Nope. Snipe allways hits its max dmg which was pre-patch: 99.999, and now 199,999. The numbers are just for show. When a bone fish uses cancel weapon attack, you'll still kill it, and when any boss (with or without cancel weapon attack, it doesn't matter) the chunk of HP which goes off due to snipe is always 199.999. Also, dmg doesn't apply to snipe because then I'd NEVER be able to do 99.984 dmg on a newtie (before patch), or 99.998 on a golem (also before patch, and I should have the SS somewhere if really needed).

from what i have been told, regaurdless of what #'s display snipe always hits max damage, and once i have lev 30 snipe this will be easy to prove, just fight a HH with nothing but snipe, and record every hit, the screen shows, or take a SS of every hit and examine them latter. Just take his total hp/199,999 and round up to the nearest hit, if u kill him in exactly that man snipes it will prove that snipe always does max (199,999) no matter what the screen says. any MM out there who currently have max snipe willing to solve this for us? *Edit* i looked it up HH has 3.5mill hp, so it will take 17.5 round up to 18 snipes @ 199,999 dam each to kill him. and exactly 1min 30 secs to snipe him to death! so are there and MM out there with max snipe who would care to see how many snipes it takes to kill HH if its more than 18 exactly then we will know snipe does not hit 199,999 everytime but if it does take 18 exactly then we know that it does also take a ss of every hit, because if u so happen to average 195,000 over those 18 shots then it will still kill him, but under no circumstance should it take 19 shots unless snipe does not hit 199,999 everytime
