is it just me or does it get tiring?

The first character i made was a cleric, i started out in yellonde then i went to scania. At scania i learned what clerics are meant for,healing and nothing else. Pretty much every pq i was in i was told just to heal and i grew tired of it plus my gunslinger easily out dmged me. My friend told me i should just quit my cleric and stick with my gunslinger. Even though there is ups and down on my gunner i hate healing those dmb jerks who say just heal. i want to know how many people quit there cleric or just going all the way to bishop.

I had a decent time as a Cleric. In CPQ, I actually out damaged all the other mages, and there were times where it was me soloing Roms at the bottom of rooms 5 and 6 =P. Getting to Priest wasn't bad, but I lost my mojo after 75. I was stuck at that level for about a month before I took a hiatus from Maple because I realized although I got the advance, I was basically a glorified Cleric with a new title >_>.. Still, that 1 point I had in Shining Ray was pretty darn fun, I mobbed so many things and even trained for a bit at FoG =P. I came back and started a Knight, but MPQ'd on the side with my Priest to get out of the hell that is early 7X. Himing can be pretty crazy fun when you're out there with friends and guildies. Trust me, it's probably the most actively attentive you'll ever have to be aside from bossing as far as training goes for our class.

Heh, don't let them bother you. A cleric's main function in a party is support, but you can still attack. If people don't heal themselves it's their own fault. I usually try to keep everyone healed on my Cleric but if someone gets angry because I'm not healing as fast as they would like, I purposely avoid healing them and hope they die. It's good to know you have that power over them. If you dislike being support Clerics aren't really your class. I know I couldn't play it as my main.

If you hate being bossed around, don't PQ. Honestly, Clerics can function well enough on their own.

i hated training that is the only reason why i pqed mp3 for me sucks i keep missing and the most i could do was 500 dmg on my gunner i can do 800 with no pots at the sam lvl

Well in CPQ, clerics aren't always the most wanted classes, expect for the fact that many monsters hit a lot of damage, so people need heal. (Is it CPQ you're talking about?). In most pqs, as clerics aren't supposed to be an offensive class till mid-late 3rd job, clerics are just there to heal. You just have to see the positives, as someone stated, you have control over them as you can kill them (if you don't mind a but of defame), and there is the bit of exp. Many people just say heal because they dont have time to say please, as otherwise they mite die (not potting) or in CPQ, its best to be killing most of the time.

o.o I want Gen <3 so I'm sticking til Bish, but I didn't mind people just telling me to heal cuz most of the time they'll die if they say more. Most are civil enoug hto say ty afters anyways xD I don't mpq anymore cuz it got boring and I'm doing fine atm ;P

I disagree with that last statement, if you have a well made cleric you can be at mp3 at 50 but if your only hitting 500s max then wraiths is much much better for you ( I have a 52 cleric at mp3 that I brought there two lvls ago and I can pull about 65-70% an hour easily solo while racking up goooood money.)

Me too... Although i'm lukless and do more like 600-1k at mp3 mobbing... lvl50-52 in 2hours

I said for no reason should HE. Not everyone. I realize it's possible to MP3 early, but does it seem that this particular person is capable of it? Thanks for all the details, but at no point were you mentioned.

I have to admit, being a cleric was a bit boring cause i couldn't mob and all i really did was heal. but now that i am a lvl 103 priest, i do mostly fighting then healing. I love being a priest. This is my main character, although i am thinking of making a second character

i had been training on wraiths but it gets really easy right now for some reason,maybe i might go on my cleric to try to train by soloing but idk it is wierd 4 me because for a cleric it is just heal,magic claw is ok it does mostly 300/300 or 300/400 but training is way easier for me to mob them. wraiths i had been hiting a little bit higher like 600 or 700. i just bet bored using the same move over and over.
