arrrrghhh, ok ive been tearing hair out over this for a while. I'm almost to lvl 30 and I'm wondering- Dit or Sin? Sins are cool, but dits have savage blow and more damage, but sins have the range. suggestions and with reasons too pls, not just "hErMiT fTw"

I went with sindit. I couldn't bear being an assassin past lvl 41.

Dits have savage blow, but sins generally have better damage anyway if done right. If you think sin is cool, go for it. Personally I shudder at the though of spamming the same move for 110 levels, but some people like it. Dpn't choose dit for the damage though, you'll be dissappointed. choose whichever you think would be more fun

Sins Pros: Long range attacks and lots of speed Cons: Have to punch with claw if mobs too close You don't really get new attacks until level 70 but all you get it shadow partner and avenger basically then at lvl 120 you get triple throw which is similar but if you got to 120 you probably don'y mind about lucky 7ing for like 2 years. Bandit Pros: Close range attack, powerful, and slightly more skills than sin. Cons: No long range, and only half the speed of sins (Haste being on half, fj being other) But you should have really decided this before you put sp into l7. If you have max l7, become sin because if you have like 20 l7 but become bandit there's no point in become a bandit you're kinda being like a ditsin

Dits are weaker than sins, but it only depends on how you built your skills. By the way, what is the build for your skills?

You are wrong in the Savabe blow part. you say "Hell, yes 6 hits omg " but these hits are 80% each (80x6=480) so 480% attack, while L7 is 150% ea so 300% attack, BUT sins got critical (250%+150%=400%, 250%+250% = 500%) they are 50% of the times stronger and 50% weaker, but sinse 80% is a less dominant number, the damage > defense formula tend to be more random weak numbers than random stronger numbers like L7. Dits are xpensive and hard do train, sins are also xpensive, but they save a lot of money at 3rd job I'd say Sin if you like ranged and strong attack, dits if you like melee and want to have an extensive fun per level.

It's still a close match with equal funding. I outdamage a lot of dexless sins though with my lowdex dit. =P 2. Not all dits rely on constant ME as an attack, so we can save as much money as we want. 3. Dits have attack shields while sins don't, so you're forgetting that we can have another source of power. Your formulas were kinda "ugly" all in one sentence, so I probably can't reply to it too well. Edit: thedarkflash said: "Dits are weaker than sins, but it only depends on how you built your skills. By the way, what is the build for your skills?" Complete lie. 1. ME can outdamage just about any sin of the same level. 2. Come see me when you get to my dit's level, and we'll see who outdamages who. |

I swear to Pick Dit it is THE MOST LOVABLE and fun move class i have ever played in my life(played Spearman, Cleric[3 of em], Hunter, Sin, and Slinger) out of all of those my Dit is the most fun purely from the game play style i like the Haste(dont even have yet)+melee=Win jumping around in CPQ and killing Robos in 3 hits at level 41(with a 60att k-fan)[74att wagner for 43 ] I love playing my Dit most enjoyable class to play plus i went Pure dit so i got a only melee class which may sound kinda of boring but i love it so much mroe than my 51 Sin(training boring as HELL) i perfer Dit because of FUN TRAINING. Pick a class that has fun training=Win class for you becuase of PQs=MORE fun, and training is boring part of leveling if that is fun then you will go far and have a fun time. Bandits FTW!
