New Scam? Freakand I just lost my Dep star

OK so I've recently got my Dep Star stolen from some scam I've never even heard of. So this person is buying items. (For very unusually high price) Of course dummy me asked to trade this person. I put up the item he wants and he puts up the money he's paying. At first he clicks trade and then quickly closes. Second time I get to thinking, maybe I can out close his trade and get the trade going. The third time the same thing happens, it trades, money on his side, item on mine, and at the end it says that the trade went through. I look in my Inventory box, my Dep star isn't there and the money isn't either, and I'm thinking wow, I got scammed.. I advise you guys to stay on the lookout. I feel like crap right now because this person scammed me out of my Dep star. Be alert and don't let it happen to you. FYI the IGN is OcenaPirate.

umm if u were certain that he put up mesos, i doubt u could of gotten "nothing" from the trade

That's...strange. But thanks, I'll be aware of that. Note2Self: If it's unusual, and involves money...it's most likely something you should avoid.

I didn't spam at all. As soon as he accepted I clicked trade and ok and apparently the trade didn't go through. Either he's abusing a glitch or he's hacking. FYI the name of the scammer is OcenaPirate

anytime it seems too good to be true, it is. Selling unusually low, its prolly gonna get swapped out for a clean or something unusually high, hes gonna pull something like that. you get my drift.

when you press "ok" this box up confirming, it blocks the numbers so you can only see 5. they buy it for eg. 2222222222 but then when you press "ok" after a few tries they put up 22222.(i edited LOL)

He's not "hacking" nor "abusing a glitch". You just got greedy, wanted to take the unusual price and when he put like, 40k instead of 40mil and traded fast, you did too. I'm sorry but you got scammed, not hacked or glitched. You just couldn't notice the 40k difference in your inventory instead of the 40mil you expected to.

This^ And this isn't a new scam at all for the newbies thinking so out there lol... Fast trade scams are the oldest scamming structure ever.
