Another Max Grenade or Fake Shot Thread

I am asking whether I should max Grenade (Throwing Bomb) or Blank Shot (Fake Shot). I don't really think Blank Shot should be maxed because I won't need the FULL stun when I have Cooling Effect, and I'm PQing all the way to 70. (Lawl. oO) Grenade is kind of cool because it can hit right below me if I'm on an edge and I have VERY good precision and accuracy with it so I never really miss when using it... and it's especially fun when I Float while dropping bombs. :] <3 ...what should I pick? oO I personally pick Grenade, but I'm still confuzzled. By the way, here are the stats for level 11 and 20 grenade and fake shot: Grenade : 11: MP -23; damage 95%, attack up to 5 enemies. 20:MP -27; damage 140%, attack up to 6 enemies. My notes: Can mob better and WAY more damage. Five more MP. Blank Shot : 11: MP -20; damage 93%, 73% chance of stun of 3 seconds. 20: MP -25; damage 120%, 100% chance of stun of 4 seconds. My notes: It has 27% more of stun (lawl when I get Cooling Effect) and has kinda more damage. Still five more MP.

Well, since you plan to PQ all the way to 70, I'm assuming that your going to LMPQ. Then why the heck do you need to hit 6 enemies? There are only 3 Touros per room. With Invisible Shot there is absolutely no need for grenade in LMPQ. Plus, Fake Shot is one of the best moves to have in LMPQ, because it'll reduce your pot cost by like 10 fold! But Fake Shot does not work at lower than 100%, because there will always be that one Touro that didn't get stunned, and it's a real pain when you can't count on a stunning move. Plus, you wont get a useful Cooling until maybe level 83-84, which is a long time. You'll never use Grenade for training either, because it has crap damage. It isn't affected by mastery and it will VERY rarely hit 6 enemies at once. Trust me, you can have just as much fun with 11 grenade, as you can with 20 grenade.

Thanks! This gives me a whole new insight on what to pick. Oh yeah, what does the Fire(?) Capsule and the Ice(?) Capsule do? I heard of them, but never really thought of what it did.

Well, Flamethrower and Cooling Effect use different bullets than normal attacks. ( Blaze Capsules=FlameThrower Glaze Capsules=Cooling Effect) If you don't have the capsules, then the attack will only do half of it's regular damage. (Cooling Effect will still freeze monsters though, even if you don't have the capsule)

Well i train on Crimson Guardians every now and then for fun. You can't freeze those and it's a pretty good solo spot. If you plan to make it past 130 (or even 75) you'll need Blank Shot.
