We all know that Miss California said that she would rather have a Straight Marriage. What do you think? Did she do the right thing or the wrong thing. I am standing behind her, she was right to stand up. I have nothing against gays, but I do believe marriage is between a man and a woman. Perez's question: Do you think that other states should follow suit? Why or why not? That is asking what she thinks , her opinion. She gave it in a non-insulting manner, stating she was glad that we could choose either way. She said that's how she wants her life to be, she did not bash gays at all. Most gays don't care about this, in fact, every gay I have interviewed said they were pretty upset how they were being represented by Perez. �I think its great Americans are able to choose one way or another. We live in a land where you can choose same-sex marriage or opposite marriage. And you know what, I think in my country, in my family, I think that I believe that a marriage should be between a man and a woman. No offense to anybody out there, but that�s how I was raised, and that�s how I think it should be � between a man and a woman.� Show me where she says Gays are inferior. Also, that was a very hard question. I would like to know how else she could have answered it. EDIT: I would also like to point out how well she did in one interview. She said this "Isn't the pageant supposed to be about my looks?"

I don't see why it's such a big deal. It's her opinion . Why does the gay community get in such a huff when someone's opinion differs from their own? Simmer down homos.

Gay Community =/= Perez. Perez overexaggerates tiny things into massive crimes against humanity. Simmer down homos isnt really needed btw =_=

Eh, only thing I have to say is, even if the entire planet become gay, it's possible to continue having babies. In vitro fertilization. And it's generally not a good idea to use absolutes in an argument.

Right after I heard her say "no offence", I thought no one would mind. But it looks like people actually do. She has the right to express her opinion. Far better than lying in front of a crowd.
