Or you can use free screen capture software like Taksi , or Fraps , which offers a free demo. Uploading should happen easily, just test it on youtube, it should tell you everything you want to know.

Use Fraps , it doesn't have a watermark like Hypercam and you can control the FPS, etc., and only Runescapers use Hypercam because they don't know how to Google for better free alternatives. Only downside is I think Fraps is for full screen games only, so you must run in full screen. To upload the video, you must first register a Youtube account if you do not already have one, then sign-in your Youtube account and click the "Upload" button in the top right to upload it.

One thing I forgot to mention, Fraps (last time I checked) tends to make huge, uncompressed videos. In order to reduce the file size, launch Windows Movie Maker and import your video (I think there's an import media button) and then browse and select the video, it will take a few seconds to import pending on computer speed, then go to File -> Export (or produce/save as) and select .wmv as the new file format. Your video will reduce from about 1GB to 20MB which is easier to upload and meets Youtube's criteria. If you are running Windows 7, many of the old applications are now an optional install, so to get Movie Maker you must download Windows Live and during install, uncheck everything and select "Windows Movie Maker Beta".

Fraps demo lasts, exactly how much?

I believe Fraps demo lasts forever, it just has extra features if you pay. I wouldn't know the cost though because I use "the extended trial" version found on those "discount" websites.
