How did the GMS community become so rotten?

I'm not trying to pick a flame war. I'm asking a serious question here. I heard it was because of '10 year olds' but I can't really believe that because some 10 year olds are mature, and other versions of Maple (eg: EMS, KMS, CMS,etc.) are more devellopped then GMS, so they're bound to have 10 year old euroskoreanschineseetc. And stupidity comes from all ages and places, even JMS has stupid people, but the community there is great nonetheless. So how did it start? I don't understand that out of all the versions of MS, global has to be the rotten one.
