Aran is a totally new race. Regular classes are one race (indicated by the 0000 job tags in the data), Cygnus is another race (indicated by 1000), and Aran is yet another (2000).

Why are pole arms 'crappy'? It seems this "race" (that's what it is right, a race?) uses them quite well.

looks alright. its gonna suck tho because you would need to train on monsters that take a several hits to kill as well as spawn fast just to keep your combo counter up. but it would be fun bossing with one
