maple story is gona work on vista?

Yep, it's just a bit laggy. And if you try to run it on compatibility mode, it screws up. I use a Vista comp to play maple, and it isn't that bad.

I use everytime vista and its working perfect for me. I think u have to run maplestory as a admin.

I use compatibility mode, I use vista, I play Maple Story, it lags a bit in windowed mode, but it's better than nothing.

i play maple on vista ult, no compatibily mode, no admin thingy, no lag, no lag in window mode o.O why do so many vista users have to do what i dont?

Theres some problems at zak and HT, but for the most part vista's fine.

Hey i use vista ultimate 64 and i always DC at the same part at zakum, the 3rd body=/ Many people told me that i should alt+tab during specific parts while at the run, i did it but it just never worked, i always DC at the same part, and after i DC the same error window popd up "Visual Basic C++ Runtime Error". While researching to try to solve the problem i discovered this should be some case of incompatibility of maple with vista, but it seems that 32mb ultimate users do not have the same error.

i play on vista and have few problems. at least not any more than when i was playing it on xp.

I already thought about quitting maple after trying like 5 times to get zhat and never getting it. At the first 2 times i died or dced, but i played on my XP pc so i never had this runtime C++ issue. I changed the pc and tried those 3 times. After the first try ppl told me that there was this error about vista and that i should go back to XP, but i upgraded all my pc, and the new system, told me the techs, wont work well on XP because it�s designed for vista+. Its just sad to have this zhat image as something ill never get. Im happy to where i got with my char you know, i started my dexless DK totally unfunded (i only had like 3m from my other war that got lvl 33-34 i cant remember exactly). I see many ppl having to go low-high dex for not being funded, i managed to play (of course with dex items from friends) and got my dk to lvl 92, and i�m happy to where i got, even tho lvl 92 isnt a big deal, but now i feel sad once zhat for dexless is a must-have (and it wouldn�t be nice lvling to like lvl 120 and not being able to join att pts on zak, what would be the point of playing at all without being able to kill giant stony 8-army fugly bosses? =/). Im managing to get my old xp pc working back again (it keeps reseting by itself idk whats going on, maybe demonic stuffz lol jk) so whenever i have to run i just exchange the pc for a while, go to run, then go back to my vista pc. I logged a ticket to nexon, let�s say what they will answer about this problem, but well, back to what StarOfDoom asked, yes it really works well on vista, but you should have like at least 2 g ram ddr2 for it to work well, so you can zak, full fm1 with no concerning. And if you really want vista you should try version 32mb one, it�s told not to DC at zak/ht and the new service pack, for what i know, can stand till 4g ram, so it�s the same as 64 that already could. Just hope i could help Star on that, and sorry for the long text, it�s just that i�m so pissed off, the last DC i had was yesterday =/

Lmao monkeys.... Any ways about Vista. Follow the super tech guide they have here and maple should run fine. Another option to try hunting down a 64 bit version of XP. link Great guide!

Works absolutely fine on Vista, for me at least. Better than XP for sure. But that's just me. :P
