He was always my favorite mod. I always knew this day was coming, and I expect the next week will bring many changes for this site. I really am sad to see him go and many others that I know I will miss very much. Basilmarket has really changed in the past year, and I honestly can't say for the better. The community, the rules, and now the moderation. I don't expect things to be the same after this coming week. So, whatever happens, let's just take a moment and appreciate what was a great time on Basilmarket. I for one, would like to thank the people that have become my friends over the past year. Especially Syko, who has always been a solid friend that I know I can count on. I don't think a lot of Basilers appreciate the contributions he's made for Basilmarket, but if only you guys knew the amount of time and dedication he's spent on the site. People say a lot of unfair things about him. I'm not sure why. Maybe it's because He didn't go around bending over to the chat section like moderation is supposed to be some kind popularity contest. Or maybe, because he's much older than almost all of us, he didn't sympathize with all the emo, melodramatic, teenage angst crap that goes on around here. Either way, there was a lot of misdirected hatred. If we didn't appreciate him while he was here, let's at least look back positively on him now that he's left the site. Things are going to change, sooner and more than most people realize. This is just the begining, but it's important to remember what things were like before things become worse.
