Character simulator links and 4th job skills are posted in here! Please refer to them here and not spam the forums. If something isn't in this guide and you want to know, look to see if anyone else has asked the question recently before posting it yourself. After reading many posts in the General section of the BasilMarket forums, I have realized that many of the same questions are repeated. I have come up with a list of the questions with my own perspective of the answers. This should help answer many questions that are being asked to avoid disruption and whatever to keep the forums clean and organized. A few are: (Use Control + F to find keywords that you're searching for. This is a rather long thread so please pay attention to when you read.) The order of sections are as following: • Class/Unnecessary Threads • Hack-Related Questions • Wizet/Moderator/GG/Ban-Related Questions • Boss/Quest-Related Questions • Train/Hunting/Prepaid Card-Related Questions • Other Section-Related Question • Temporary Questions • Other Information • Credits Class/Unnecessary Threads Q: Which class should I pick? Is _______ or ________ better? A: No class is better. They are better than each other on different scenarios but are all equal in the end. Q: Help me choose a name for ___________! A: It's your character so therefore, it is your choice. We do not know your preference so we will not be of help. Use your own time and effort to choose a name for your character instead. Q: What methods can I use to increase my scrolling luck? A: Scrolling is completely based on chance. It has nothing to do with where you are or anything. If so, then there wouldn't be a reason for there to be 10,30,60,70 and 100% scrolls. Q: Choose, pineapple or squid. A: Questions like these are pointless and should go to the chat section of Basilmarket. Q: Do you live in _________? Anybody lives in __________? A: Chat Section. Q: Should I get FA as a Hybrid DK or not? (Posted on General Section) A: This is meant for the Perion Section. To keep things organized, post it there next time if you want an answer. Q: How do I know if __________ should be in the General Section? A: Is it a question? Does it relate to questions about MapleStory? Is it appropriate? If so, then it's fine to post as long as it doesn't cause flaming and does not break the rules. Q: I quit! Giving Free Items! A: There are many users on BasilMarket. We won't know who you are if you quit. Making a thread about quitting will not only discourage other players, but cause a flame war. If you stop playing MapleStory, then keep it to yourself. Users don't care if you quit or not, but threads of someone quitting is quite annoying. Q: Pro __________________. A: The only "pros" in this game are the Wizet Staff. No one else can be a professional in a game. Q: TIGER ________________! A: We had enough of Tiger. Stop making threads about him. If you want to congratulate him, go to his map and say so. Q: Congrats for ________ on ________!

It seems to help a lot of people." I don't think you're too bright. Firstly, mrbasil didn't do this. Secondly, it's a sticky. It never falls below line 5 (depending on # of stickies) in general chat.

It never falls below line 5 (depending on # of stickies) in general chat." lol. i'm not too bright, eh? i'd run circles around you, my friend. on topic-- yes, mr. basil didn't write the faq, but i'm pretty darn sure that he okayed it being a sticky. there are very few, if any, people that can moderate/create stickies aside from mr.basil. some random person didn't decide it should be a sticky, mr.basil did because it saves him hours of work having to go through and delete dozens of the same topic every day. if you notice, the faq covers many topics that people often ask about. by putting the faq as a sticky, highlighting it in yellow, and making sure it is one of the first topics to viewed, it should cut down on the number of people asking the same question 5 times a day, every day. the reason it has been posted 'atleast 3 times' is because it is constantly changing and needs to be updated. people also post silly comments questioning the purpose of it being posted, leading to the need to post a new, clean, guide. i'm sure lots of people don't read the faqs and stupid questions still get posted, but i've noticed a significant decline in the number of msgs. it also lists tips that even experienced players might not know. i have no idea what you are trying to say by stating it is a sticky and that it is always on the top of the forum. if anything you are proving the point that the faq is important and needs to be one of the first things people read. the question isn't 'why is this posted', it's 'why didn't we think of doing this all along'.
