DON'T Upgrade your 'Maple Shield' !

This is just a suggestion to anyone with a level 20 Maple Shield Don't upgrade it into a level 64 shield unless you need to. The warrior and thief shields are not as valuable as the level 20 maple shield, because the maple shield can be scrolled for atk and sold to either a bandit or a 1h warrior (more market = more demand = higher value) The mage shield is different, because only mages will use them, BUT upgrading a clean shield is a huge waste, because upgrading a shield strips it of its stats and makes it a clean 10 slots again This means a maple shield has 10 grace slots, that if poorly scrolled can be refreshed into a new 10 slot level 64 shield.

-_- The reason WGs are so popular is that they're usable by all classes. If a mage were to scroll an 8 atk WG, he'd have buyers from all four other classes. An 8 atk WG > 8 atk thief/warrior/pirate/bowman glove (in terms of price, not effectiveness.) Concept is same with the maple shield. While in it's base form it's usable by all classes. Upgrading it limits the amount of interested buyers in drops the price.

Yea but magician items are really expensive this shield will be really attractive for lukless magicians and it wont be the first time that magicians pay a lot for a ridiculous small increase of int. But I agreed if is about the other shields.

But I agreed if is about the other shields." It's possible that the demand for Magician shields will actually be greater than the demand for Atk shields for both Bandits and Warriors combined. That's why I put it in the voting selection. " � Maple shield and Maple Magician shield will have the same value in the future " But it's still better to try to scroll a clean Maple Shield first before upgrading it.

i'm pretty sure only bandits use maple sheilds...... you don't see alot of 1 hand wariors
