| Here is something I learned, after my recent birthday: You can only trust yourself. Haha human nature is corrupted, and morals can be easily broken. Here is the story: It was my birthday, and my friend sent me a text. He knew my birthday was soon. When I told him it was today, he replied saying, "Happy Birthday!" I was really happy because some people forgot about my birthday (like my mom >.>) Well a couple months before that, my brother leaked out my MapleStory passsword to him. When I got mad at my brother, he replied "It's okay, he doesn't know your pin, and even if he does, he won't hack you!" Well my pin just so happens to be my birthday (you know, mm/dd). The next day I logged on, and everything was gone. My 8 int glitter gloves, 9 int PuAc, 5 int heart earrings, all my 90mill, and all my 20k nx. Basically, everything averaged up to 300 mill and 20 dollars, all my savings the 2 years I've been playing. At first, I was kinda calm, since hacking is very common. If it were some random guy I didn't know, I wouldn't have minded as much. But then, I noticed on the bottom of the screen there was an icon which said "You have a new note" When I clicked it, there was a huge list that said "Jerky****** has received the item," over and over again (The ***** is to censor part of the username, just in case we're not allowed to post usernames) My friend recently quit his lvl 4x sin and made a mage. Jerky****** is his char. Also, he claims he hasnt been on for 5 days, but just today, his char. changed. His new char. has a maple leaf and an esther (which he did not have before, and I'm 99% sure it's mine, since my esther shield is missing too) My friend has been hacked (since he gave out his password) and prolly hacked me to make up for his loss. I'm being reasonable, asking him to just give me my equipts, and I'll forgive him. He doesn't even have to pay me for the 20k NX. But all he's replying is "Huh? What? I don't know." Also, I borrowed a Zhu-Ge-Liang Wand, from an extremely nice online friend. It has the capability of being godly when scrolled right, too. But he took that too. Now all I'm asking him is to at least give me that wand, so I can return it to my friend. I don't want her to think I pretended to be hacked, just to steal her wand. When I call him, he replies "Haha...you're funny..." The fact that he's my friend in RL makes me sad ( and of course, mad) Now all I can hope for is that he doesnt sell anything D: Well, here's my story. Don't know why I typed this...
