Well, I went to this thread, and I saw this ad, featuring a naked statue ( think it was david). Nothing I find offensive, but I dunno if it goes against BM rules. Not only that, but it was announcing a book titled "Slim Bastard". Is this ok, or against BM policy?

If you're talking about the statue of David that Michaelangelo made; that isn't really disturbing. I see it in textbooks, even posters sometimes, and no one complains.

I feel that the ads are inappropriate/hypocritical/whatever. IF YOU SEE AN INAPPROPRIATE AD (anything promoting hacking, illegal servers, adult content, etc.) please report it . The ads are placed on BasilMarket by Google's AdSense service. The specific sites that they link to are generated by keywords on each page, so mrbasil has little control over which sites Google initially links to through its ad service. Individual sites can and will be blocked from being advertised here if they're bad. Remember, though: BasilMarket is supported by advertisements. They're on the site to help pay for the server, which is why we cannot eliminate them entirely. This does NOT mean that you too can advertise your own content on Basil. link
