Help with Limewire

I need help with Limewire. I downloaded some videos, but then when I opened it in Windows Media Player, it said something about codec. When I opened it in Quicktime, it said that there was an error and another extension was necessary, but when I tried to put the extension on. It was all messed up and it still won't work. Help please.

Use VLC Media Player instead. Or download DivX for the codec.
