Yeah. I had a friend, who I thought I liked, but I ended up jumping to conclusions too fast. I haven't talked to him in almost six months, and I feel guilty. I always used to think that I was annoying and that I bothered him, but I didn't (my friend told me this, she found out somehow). I got really happy after discovering that, since previously, I apologized (through e-mail) and he said that we could start talking again, even though it would be awkward. I know that I can talk to him, but I just lose control when I get near him. I start stressing, my knees get weak and I just walk away. I'm a coward, I know. I plan on talking to him next week, somehow. Do you guys know any way that I could talk to him without making the situation really awkward? Like, what to say? Ex. Hi, since we haven't talked in a while, just to be able to talk to eachother again, do you think we could go eat at lunch together..? (That wouldn't be awkward, since he was my friend for about three years previously)

Lunch is definitely a good idea, just talk about all that's gone on in both of your lives over some food. Otherwise, meeting at a mall or park, somewhere else where you can just sort of sit around and talk, would be a good idea. @Reid: ogm r u gey

I know exactly how you feel. Except... It's a bit different. Yes, I'm obnoxious, and yes, I thought, or rather think I like them. LETS BE FIENDS

So you've went through puberty, eh? It stinks. I know. We've all been through it.

Awkward.... I don't know much, but straight guys get pretty upset when a gay guy tries to get fresh with them.... Can't tell you much other than try to apologize.

Is he gay too? If he's not, he probably feels awkward atm. Stating the obvious, i know.

winddrakeI found out that in a lot of tough moments, you don't need to come up with speeches beforehand to try to patch things up. Maybe you should just start up a conversation somehow and let your feelings do the rest.

I did apologize, and he accepted my apologies. I said that he was okay for us to start talking again, even though it would be awkward. I don't think that he thinks that this ruined our friendship. @screech ; no, he's not gay.
