My internet is suddenly faster?

I'm currently downloading Combat Arms the old fashion way. And it seems my DLing speed has doubled from 113kb to 223kb. And it's been stable like that for around 15mins. Any explanation to why it doubled? I haven't changed internet providers. Oh and if anyone plays CA, add me: Ryugin
