Hey y'all; bit of a question on proxies

So lately I've been trying to bypass the block on websites my school has (just for the convenience of being able to show a pal a video on youtube, for example) and I got a firefox portable edition onto my usb drive. I tried it at school and sure enough (this was expected) it failed. What happened was that firefox loads great, just that the block is still there. At that moment, I recalled using a built in proxy thing in firefox awhile ago. So if I were to use this feature thing (this method link ) would the block be gone? Thanks in advance

Page not found. Anyways, I doubt it. School security locks take down almost anything. I got my school ID suspended for trying to go to HideMyAss for like a week. >_<

Heh, my school filters the entire internet, not just on the computer. Found out by trying to use my iPod Touch.
