please tell me about ht and egg

this is about the horntail pendant. i wanna get one after i buy an ele wand 7. but i dunno how. i did the htpq twice(to help get gene). and do i have to do it again to enter horntail or what? and if i'm done (we're done or whoever) killing horntail does horntail directly dropping the pendant? and how about the egg. the horntail directly also drops it? or what? i saw u gotta do a quest. assuming that i got the necklace, i gotta do the quest for egg. and scroll it. how many times can u scroll it? and how many eggs can u get? is the quest for the egg repeatable? so u can scroll it trice. plss answer all! I REALLY HAVE NO IDEA ABOUT ALL THESE. AND I'M CONFUSED. (and i'm lvl 140. LMAO) what about those people selling EGG + NECKLACE. so they'll be doing the quest for egg? THANKS IN ADVANCE TO WHOEVER REPLIES.

Horntail drops the egg and the pendant when you kill him. How many he drops I have no idea. You have to do a quest to turn the egg into a scroll that you use on the HT pendant. However in GMS you can only scroll the pendant 1 time. In other versions that have Horntail you can scroll 2 times with I believe JMS being able to scroll the HT pendant 3 times.

Theres a way to skip the quests if you've already done them. You get some Etc item that allows you to bypass. I dont have a name or how you obtain it though. You can only get a +1 right now because the quest is not repeatable.

No he drops egg/pendant's. You do a quest to kinda "unlock" the egg

horned tail drops egg and pendant, there's a way to bypass the htpq portion but you must have "badge of a squad member" completed, and so far you can only get one egg too scroll but the other two are unavailable at the moment.

OOOOHH.. so u just need to loot em. and turn the egg into a scroll. OK OK. i get it. i've seen a video like he lost a lot of stuffs(quest stuffs for htp) ~ "you have lost..." and gain the pendant~ "you have gained horntail necklace" THIS CONFUSED whether u gotta do a quest after killing horntail to get the necklace or just loot it! DO I HAVE TO DO THE HTPQ AGAIN TO ENTER HORNTAIL?

Yes, you loot the pendant directly from drops. Horntail also drops an egg, which can be used for a quest which trades the egg for a 'Dragon Stone' used to scroll (+15 stats & more) to the pendant.

He drops about 4 pendants and 2 eggs I believe. No you don't need to do HTPQ each time you go into the cave.

ok, thanks everyone. now i get it. i might get htp after i get my ele wand 7 sometime this week or next. but i dont wanna die in the run so i might just ask the seller to play with this. a legit seller. LMAO. this is my first time i dont wanna mess up. LOL. AND DO U THINK IF I PLAY IT AND DIE I DIE IN RUN, do i have to buy another pendant again? is that how the buying and selling goes?

You'll most likely be resurrected. I was really excited for my HT run, I got 1k ales and did a lot of cleanup so nothing bad will happen. Guess what? I wasted around 200 ales, even helped attacking and with mob control, didn't lag AT ALL and it was really fun XD
