Humans equal to Animals?

Do you think Animals and Humans are equal? Think of it this way. The only differences between an animal and a human are these: Intelligence Appearence We all have the need to survive It's generally established that appearences don't matter, so we'll cross that one out. That leaves intelligence. So apparently, we judge equality by intelligence? I think if you kill a dog its not as bad as killing a human I mean, I don't consider myself equal to a hamster, you know? What do you think?

I doubt we will go into war with animals so easily, unless we were being greatly threatened. But of course, there would be many humans possibly living with the animals, maybe vegetarians or people who are into that kind of stuff, but what's not to say that the carnivores won't eat them?

Yes, I believe we should be equal. However, I know this will never happen, since humans are greedy, ignorant creatures.

If you are pro-life, which some humans claim to be you must meet the following criteria • You are vegan • You believe in Science, which will cure many diseases and save lives • You are against ALL WARS • You are against the death penalty • You support stem cell research, as those are not actual lives and the benefits of saving a life of a sick person > debatable life Please do not confuse Pro-life "Social Conservatives" as being pro-life, they are not.

Definitely equal. Because, NEWS FLASH, Humans are animals too. Plus if it weren't for our good brain and thumbs, we'd be no where near where we are today. no thumbs would essentially make us land dolphins. no upper intelligence would make us monkeys.

I believe that we're not the same as animals, without us, all animals will do is drink, and eat each other the cruel way, I believe humans can make this world a better place, or maybe make it worse.

I think that many people would say humans and "animals" are equal. Fact of the matter is, we aren't equal. If anyone would have to choose from protecting another human and an "animal", the human would flat out win. Also, the fact that we can communicate with one another, it makes us feel like we're on equal grounds with each other. Since we can't communicate or even begin to understand "animals" we can never really think that the equality will be reached. Yes ethically we are but usually, ethics isn't computed into how we think. The so-called equality amongst "animals" and humans are evident in the way we treat out pets. Well all this is my opinion. It's what I think about human and "animal" equality. =3
