Which in your opinion is a needed class to play

Hi i just recently started playing maplestory again, I am curious between the two classes, Which are better to play on. Please add pro's and con's if needed. Priest. Or Brawler..

brawler -pros: more fun, variety, combination of atks -cons: lvl slower den a preist + bishop; coz the fact that u jsut came bak, i dont think this acc wud b funded to make a decent brawler priest: -pros, easy from 1-30, lvl rly fast from 70-120( i got my bishop form lvl 70-119 in a month; thanksgiving event, lvled from 84-110 ;]) and after lvl 120, lvling sud b a breeze, genesis genesis, dont get bored easily, make money FAST (i made a pg hp warrior mule, nd im making 25/hour by selling pg leech) -cons: basically, holding on to one button, its not easy getting from 30-70 (let alone u need to b around 75 for a proper HS) this is all in my opinion btw xP

PG is power guard. It's a skill for fighters and pages. It's a buff that lets you take less physical damage, by returning some of the monster's damage to damage to its own HP. It only misses if the monster misses. Since whether you can leech depends on: whether you hit a monster, your level compared to the monster, and the lowest level who hit the monster. EDIT: Anyways, I think priests are a GREAT starter class. It's a must have job for social people, and they have many skills that save the mesos. But brawlers are also good. They deal big, big numbers, they have a wide arsenal of moves from simple damage dealing skills, to skills that clusters mobs (for your close ranged mob move)

Great thanks, i will think about the two. Brawlers sound fun but priests look fun also with Genesis.

I myself have never played a Brawler, so I could tell you the pros and cons of that particular class, but I do have a Priest, so I can help you on that one. Pros: One of the fastest leveling 1st jobs, Once you hit about 78 you can start going to Himes, You'll rarely have trouble finding a party, Genesis. Cons: As stated before you're pretty much using one button, Hard to keep motivation to get to 70, Genesis can take a LONG time to get, Leveling as a priest gets annoying around mid-80's without a Warrior for Himes (See: My level). Overall, if you're fine with not doing a lot of damage till you're over level 120, I'd say go Priest, but if you do like attacking, I say go with the Brawler. They look fun, and I'd have one if I wasn't already funding a Luk-less F/P

IF you like Priests cuz of Genesis... think about it.. Genesis is a 4th job skill, so if you want Genesis then you need to be pretty determined :]

Hm im still Stuck between the two, I do enjoy the priest, due to the meso making, but i also enjoy the brawler because they are powerful and do use more than one move.
