....sad Alchemy is a false form of chemistry not magic. Chemistry is making something out of given elements EX:hydrogen and oxygen to make h2o. Alchemy is making some thing out of nothing like turning coal into gold. Basically magic has nothing to do with alchemy just to get you guys on the right track. If you want to look this up read "Holt Chemistry Book"(easily found in school libraries or public libraries.

Meh I'll ask my scary science teacher next lesson. EDIT: Alchemy is not magic even though Full MEtal Alchemist shows it like magic. It's called science...Ed even saiid it himself "Renkinnjutsu wa kagakuda" (Alchemy is science) not sure if he said the exact samething but he did say it in one of the episodes.
