8x still possible?

I want to do 8x this weekend during the 2x events( if the anniversary starts before then) and I wanted to know if its still possible, anyone know?

They might patch it. Some people said it's gonna be permanent and that it isn't a glitch, though o.o

Well instead of saying " this effect negates during a 2x exp event it says, this effect negates during a 2x drop event o.0. Btw, if it is increased to 1.5x exp that would mean 12x exp if the glitch (or permanent) thing still works.
