OKAY! now i'm near making my final decision. Some things i read online are changing my views. First, beholder mastery is passive meaning i dont need to cast beholder to gain the mastery(confirm anyone?). Second, achilles applies only to physical damage(lame). Third, i never saw heal as really beneficial to my style of training which is mostly running into monsters. So.........from what i BELIEVE i have learned....i have decided to max beholder buff for the 15atk and not cast beholder during bosses (as long as its true about the mastery being passive) and not put ANY points into heal OR achilles. Does this seem to make sense for me? AND last question i swear, can anyone tell me or link me to somewhere that tells the exact stats you receive from beholder buffs throughout the levels? i basically want to know if i have to max it for the 15atk or if i get that before level 25. THANKS EVERYONE FOR THE HELP AND SORRY FOR NOT BEING ABLE TO MAKE UP MY MIND. *original post below hi i've been trying to get opinions and info about maxing out achilles or heal for my drk. so far i've heard about the 1/1 issue and a high level achilles would not let you ginseng back to berserk but anyways, i was wondering should i go with heal instead of achilles? I want to be able to anego and stuff but i dont want achilles to be useless after i would normally have enough hp anyways. Also pots are not a big issue with me cause i dont really care about using them. I just wanna know which skill would make more sense for me so please vote below . reposting because i wanted warriors opinions in general. no poll because i can only submit once a week but still, pls let me know which skills to do. If you say neither what skills should i level?

If you're a Zerker then go Achilles because you want to be able to survive those hard hitting attacks and still stay alive in order to zerk.

Well personally Achilles which is maxed is 15%, heal is I believe 200 or 400 hp per 5 seconds, in 5 seconds anego would hit a tad bit more then 200~400 hp xD. I'd do a no brainer of Achllles -15% from 18k slap is like 2.7k?

If he used ginseng he'd need to have only 5% hp left when he potted, which is quite risky.

The TS is saying that with achiles it also takes away dmg from the 1/1 atks. So if he maxes it he's scared he can't use ginseng after the 1/1 atk. I heard that the healing when maxed is pretty amazing for training and helps a lot but I can't really say I know too much because I haven't gotten that far yet.

Well beserking at Anego is close to impossible, unless you are highly experienced. Beholder's healing is useful ONLY in lower leveled training places (NOT even newties or skeles, and those are the optimal training spots). I would personally go with Achilles, probably because it could yield far greater benefits as compared to beholder's healing. Achilles helps greatly with bossing (If your survival depends on just a small decrease in damage dealt by the boss), whereas Beholder's healing, as stated before, can not even assist you too much in training. The only benefit to beholder is that it can heal you right up to your beserk threshold, which may allow you to tank a hit from...lets say bigfoot. Do not worry about not being able to use ginseng pots when 1/1'ed. You can just use something like a reindeer milk, which should heal you close to your threshold if used with a combination of other pots.

Achilles maxed blocks 450 dmg from a skele if he only takes 3k dmg from it. Beholders healing can heal 400 dmg every 4 seconds and you're not constantly getting barraged with their magic atk. There are scenarios where beholders healing is good.

Those two scenarios out of.....100? |

Name a time where you would constantly be getting whacked. Every 4 seconds of healing can compensate for some of the damage taken. Not many monsters hit over 3k dmg. Take zakum for example. He could use his ginsengs after a 1/1 atk and not worry about overpotting and then his beholder could heal to his threshold w/e it is.

Training at CGs, training against general time temple mobs for the 999 quests, training on guardian captain of oblivions, training on mobs sure to come out in the future with more extreme HP:EXP ratios (neo tokyo like monsters for example). |

That's still pretty far away and I was just saying in defense of beholders healing that its useful. Both skills are good but at his level I wouldn't put points into either of them.
